“The song was inspired by exploring the void, staying out all night, excess, L.A. at night, being caught up in toxic relationships, losing people to drugs. It was from a darker time which has long since thankfully passed,” Bonfire Beach’s Dexy Valentine (Magic Wands) told us.
We know that feeling and that lifestyle all too well and are always glad when it’s in the rear view. But it’s still fun to reflect on and who we were then makes us who we are now.
