Last year, My Bloody Valentine’s MBV made its way onto quite a few year-end lists (including a #11 slot on Under the Radar’s own list). A new honor has now been bestowed upon the band’s mastermind, Kevin Shields: A college scholarship bearing his name.
Irish university BIMM Dublin is currently offering The Kevin Shields Scholarship, which applies to a 3-year music production course. “It’s a good opportunity for a young producer to learn all about sound and techniques, it’s a cool course,” says the shoegaze legend.
